Materials Handler
About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for physically picking, inspecting, and packing production line kits by hand. Materials vary in size and weight and require frequent walking, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling in a safe and efficient manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Selects materials according to order sheet. Packs materials safely and neatly in tubs. Inspects materials for damage, contamination, or discoloration. Completes assigned paperwork accurately. Checks system for inventory and orders backordering materials. Restocks material storage locations daily. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Requirements
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail
- Complies with all safety policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a lift truck and or parts picker is a plus
