Position Summary We’re hiring a Math Instructor / Tutor who is enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to help students succeed. You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging and effective math instruction using the Mathnasium Method™, with full training provided. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and compensation up to $20 per hour. Starting pay is based on experience, education, and performance during training, with opportunities to increase over time. Requirements

  • Passion for math and helping students succeed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in math through at least Algebra II (higher-level math a plus!)
  • Organized, dependable, and willing to learn
  • Must pass a math proficiency test, background check, and provide work authorization

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, individualized math instruction using the Mathnasium Method™
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs
  • Build rapport with students and foster a supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and fellow team members
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms for in-center and online instruction
  • Review, correct, and assess student work
  • Support a clean, safe, and professional workspace
  • Assist with general center operations as needed
