About The Position
Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time High School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. The ideal candidate would be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who has a bachelor’s degree in education and a Teaching Certificate.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily Math instruction for students in grades 9-12
- Use best practices to provide effective instruction and positive, consistent classroom management
- Self-motivated and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues in a professional and positive manner
- Function as a cooperative, productive team member with a Christ-like attitude
- Support and uphold the philosophy and mission of the Catholic Church and the Owensboro Catholic School System
- Must pass a criminal background check and complete safe environment training for the Diocese of Owensboro before employment can be granted
