Requirements

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
Strong math foundation and comfort with high school math topics or above
Passion for teaching and supporting student growth
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Available for paid training in April or May and able to begin teaching in early summer
Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends

Nice To Haves

Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, classroom teaching, or working with high school students is a plus
Math competition background (such as AMC or related experience) is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Teach math classes in a clear, engaging, and student-centered way
Deliver lessons using Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance
Support students in building strong understanding of math topics including Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus
Manage a virtual or in-person classroom and create a positive, high-expectation learning environment
Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback
Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress, performance, and learning goals
Participate in teacher training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development
Work approximately 30–40 hours per week, with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends
