About The Position

Duties & Responsibilities - Works safely and adheres to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures - Gains a basic knowledge of Production Operations and all associated equipment - Maintains all company provided tools and equipment (cell phone, vehicle, computer, etc.) - Performs routine preventive maintenance on rotating equipment (PM's, calibrations, etc.) - Demonstrates efficient computer skills; data entry into various electronic databases - Diagnose / troubleshoot and repair minor issues associated with any rotating equipment - Perform other various tasks as assigned by the Foreman Skills & Specifications - Ability to work with a diverse team to achieve production and cost targets - Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude - Strong work ethic - Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-pressure production environment - Has basic computer skills; data entry into various electronic databases or the ability to learn - Maintains good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility Education & Qualifications - Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus (may be required in some locations) - Legally authorized to work in the United States - Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check - Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program - Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred - Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on-call rotation - Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities preferred - Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs - Capable of rigorous outdoor activities with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and other light industrial equipment Notes for applicants:  - Scout offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401K, if hired as a full time employee.  - Pay range for this position caries depending on years of experience.
