Maintain work area; maintain all equipment in a clean, safe working condition Follow all instructions and guidelines as outlined by direct supervisor Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs as directed by direct supervisor Make basic equipment repairs according to manufacturers’ specifications. Maintain and complete all equipment records in a neat and orderly fashion. Maintain tools and equipment in the safest manner possible, inspect equipment daily Perform extensive repairs as directed by direct supervisor Monitor, maintain, and update warehouse equipment parts inventory as needed Train associates in warehouse equipment repair

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values
Minimum experience required - 6 months warehouse maintenance and vehicle background
Basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, brakes, welding, and general maintenance may be required
Must be able to operate a pallet jack, forklift and rolling truck stock
Physical demands include working outside in working conditions that vary depending on seasons - temperature variations and inclement weather are real aspects of the work environment
Must be able to spend long durations sitting, standing, and walking
Ability to frequently bend, reach, climb, and stoop as needed
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 100 pounds regularly
Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Maintain work area
Maintain all equipment in a clean, safe working condition
