About The Position

Perform manual processes to complete mechanical and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
Reports defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedule with minimum supervision.

Requirements

• Following established methods and procedures
• Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and must be able to perform simple shop math.
• Competency in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, schematics or other technical documents.
• Operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Ability to read measuring, torque and leveling devices.
• Basic ability in interpreting engineered drawings.
• Perform and complete duties from written and verbal commands.
• Understanding the use of hand tools electronic and pneumatic tooling.

• High School diploma
• 2-5 years of demonstrated assembly experience.
• Knowledge of structural material, plate material and pipe sizes and their material compositions.
• Good ability in interpreting engineered drawings, schematics, or other technical documents.
• Familiar with instrumentation, tubing, valve types and mechanical fasteners.
• Knowledge of wall panels, door framing and hardware.
• Understanding the use of hand tools electronic and pneumatic tooling.
