What you'll do (Mechanical Design / Drafting) You’ll support our Engineering Projects Department with product development, 3D design, and research—helping ensure our operations stay effective, efficient, and customer-focused. Requirements

Experience with 3D modeling and drawing generation
Working toward (or completed) a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Associate, or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) Associate
CAD experience in Fusion 360, Inventor, SolidWorks, or SolidEdge
Must be able to pass a drug and background screen

Responsibilities

Create mechanical design solutions as directed by engineering team members or customers
Take ownership of new product development projects (from concept through drawing/package deliverables)
Partner with inside/outside sales to produce 3D models and 2D drawings for customer approval
Collaborate with engineering, account managers, and customers to create drawings for new parts
Reverse engineer products and design solutions
Create DXF files and 2D drawings for specialty belts and parts (for shop fabrication and CNC equipment)
Drive QC process standards to ensure finished products meet design requirements
Generate part numbers for new items and ensure integration into company systems
Accurately measure and create drawings from customer-provided physical parts
Use tools/equipment safely; follow all safety rules; maintain a neat work area; wear required PPE
Represent Belt Power professionally; perform other duties as assigned
