Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Mechanical Designer to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects for our Austin office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in mechanical systems design and drafting for complex industrial, commercial, and energy-sector projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related science (required)
• 7-10 years of design and drafting experience in related industries.
• Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Possess advanced drafting, BIM/Revit and layout skills
• Create REVIT families and AutoCAD blocks
• Possess advanced drafting, BIM/Revit and layout skills.
• Proficient in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Experienced with the latest release of Autodesk AUTOCAD and REVIT.
• Perform design work without supervision.
• Knowledgeable with electrical calculations.
• This position is based in the Austin, TX. We are currently seeking local candidates, as relocation assistance is not available.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
