Position Summary Applies mechanical engineering skills to achieve timely engineering tasks within customer cost, and quality requirements in support of assigned project(s). Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for: Writing Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, and training Production Operators on their content. A Lean advocate who will be a key member in Lean events and thinking with a Lean mindset for day-to-day activity. Design and delivery of tooling and fixtures. A problem solver who is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production floor. Member of the MRB team who develops Corrective Actions for Nonconformances.
