Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program, majoring in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering. (rising junior or senior preferred)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
  • Registered and eligible to participate in a co-op through your university
  • This Co-Op Opportunity would be a 6-month assignment that would start in May of 2026 through December of 2026
  • This position is open to candidates who are permanently authorized to work in the United States.
  • A successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Nice To Haves

  • You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • You are proficient with Solidworks or similar.
  • You have mechanical aptitude and are not afraid of being hands on.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting experienced engineers in new equipment and continuous improvement projects
  • Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of automated equipment.
  • Executing validation test protocols for FDA compliant medical device manufacturing process.
  • Partnering with other groups to collect data and solve problems.
  • Communicating your progress both in writing and orally.
