Use department equipment including CMM machine and OGP Smartscope. Help in department training on equipment or inspection techniques. Work with R&D and engineering on prototype products. Write non-conforming reports for product out of tolerance. Requirements
- Must have 3-5 years mechanical measurement experience.
- Must be familiar with most inspection equipment: comparator, verniers, micrometers ect...
- Above average computer skills
- Good people skills
- Ability to lift 25lbs
Responsibilities
- Perform first articles, inspect high precision machined and molded parts using elaborate setups.
- Use department equipment including CMM machine and OGP Smartscope.
- Help in department training on equipment or inspection techniques.
- Work with R&D and engineering on prototype products.
- Write non-conforming reports for product out of tolerance.
- Confirm the quality of product coming into the building using Part Quality Inspection Plans
- Generate non-conforming reports
