About The Position

As a Mechanical Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Troubleshoot/repair mechanical equipment and components, hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, electrical equipment, web handling systems, pumps, etc. Implement and improve preventive maintenance procedures Determines parts, tools, and supplies necessary for the jobs Implement PM procedures minimizing down time Supporting management with scrutiny of all maintenance spending and proper parts inventory Ensure all machine tool equipment is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications

Requirements

  • Possess a Two (2) year Technical Degree/Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in a Mechanical Discipline from an accredited institution OR Be in the last six months of completing an associate’s degree (verified prior to start) in a technical discipline such as, Electro-Mechanics, Mechatronics Technology, Automation Controls/SCADA, Robotics, Machinist, Automotive, Diesel Mechanic, Wind Energy Tech AND one (1) year of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Interested and available to work 12-hour shifts on days or 12-hours shifts on nights, depending on availability.
  • Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Ability to perform basic machining, fabrication, welding, pipe fitting, and millwright tasks

Responsibilities
