You'll perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, providing the accurate and timely results crucial for patient care.

Requirements

MT: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science + accredited program completion required.
MLT: Associate in Science degree + accredited program completion required.
Certified by ASCP, NCA, or AMT.
Eligible candidates considered if certified within six (6) months of hire.

Two years MT or MLT experience

Responsibilities

Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
Effectively use the Laboratory Information System.
Participate in performance/evaluation of quality control; take appropriate documented action.
Operate and perform preventative maintenance on instruments; troubleshoot equipment problems.
Responsible for collection and preparation of specimens for testing.
Prepare specimens for outside reference labs when necessary.
