You'll perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests, providing the accurate and timely results crucial for patient care.

Requirements

  • MT: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science + accredited program completion required.
  • MLT: Associate in Science degree + accredited program completion required.
  • Certified by ASCP, NCA, or AMT.
  • Eligible candidates considered if certified within six (6) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years MT or MLT experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
  • Effectively use the Laboratory Information System.
  • Participate in performance/evaluation of quality control; take appropriate documented action.
  • Operate and perform preventative maintenance on instruments; troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Responsible for collection and preparation of specimens for testing.
  • Prepare specimens for outside reference labs when necessary.
