OPB is seeking a Media Ops Post Editor to join our Media Operations team at our Portland headquarters. This role plays an important part in supporting OPB’s mission by helping preserve, restore, and prepare video content for today’s digital platforms while supporting active productions across the organization. The Media Ops Post Editor focuses on archive restoration work, including light color correction, audio sweetening, artifact cleanup, and creation of new masters from legacy and digital source material. In addition, this role supports current productions by creating credits, branding adjustments, mastering deliverables, performing quality control, and assisting with other editorial needs across OPB’s content teams. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically curious, and excited to contribute to public media. Experience with non-linear editing systems (especially Adobe Premiere Pro), media file management, and shared storage environments is important, along with a collaborative approach and enthusiasm for OPB’s mission. The Media Ops Post Editor is responsible for a variety of video post production needs in an operations-focused capacity. The position will concentrate on fulfilling archive restoration work to adhere to current formats, quality, and branding. In addition, the role will aid in the completion of active productions across multiple OPB content teams by creating credits, branding adjustments, and other content agnostic editorial functions. This position plays a crucial role in contributing to the organization’s overall mission by providing efficiencies in building a robust digital presence that strengthens our storytelling on all platforms.
