The City of Pharr, in Pharr, TX is actively seeking a dedicated Media Specialist to be responsible for the ongoing management and growth of Pharr's Media / Internet presence in alignment with business strategies and direction of the city and its leadership. As a Media Specialist, your day would consist of collaborating with team members to plan for, produce, and/or direct media that advances the City's mission while adhering to visual identity and branding styles and guidelines. You will take still photography at city events for marketing and communications applications, including print and digital assets. As a Media Specialist, you will operate and maintain advanced digital video/photographic equipment and be responsible for developing content across owned and earned social channels and government media channels. This includes videos, photos, blog posts, tweets, status updates, informational graphics, posters, and road-side boards.
