Requirements

  • 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program or one year of verifiable MA experience in a patient care setting
  • Current BLS certification (and ability to meet credentialing requirements if applicable)
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑moving setting
  • A team‑oriented mindset and commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

  • Delivering patient care under the supervision of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
  • Gathering patient data through interviews and observation and preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Assisting providers during examinations and clinical procedures
  • Accurately documenting treatments, procedures, and patient education
  • Entering medication, lab, and imaging orders into the EMR under provider direction
  • Managing clinical and patient phone calls using sound clinical judgment
  • Collaborating with administrative and operational staff to support seamless clinic workflow
  • Helping coordinate specialty testing, referrals, and patient scheduling needs
