About The Position
Responsible for supporting all clinical activities and providers in the provision of medical services.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred OR completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent training program preferred.
- Able to float to other clinics as needed and remain trained and familiar with clinic workflows, procedures, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for office visits (vitals, chief complaint, documentation in EMR)
- Assist with exams, medication administration, and point-of-care testing
- Coordinate referrals and gather info for medication pre-authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Restock exam rooms and manage clinical inventory
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers
