About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of practical, hands-on experience in the medical assisting field.
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
  • Demonstrated passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with institutional and accreditation standards.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive instruction in medical assisting through both hands-on and classroom-based teaching methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide students to develop their technical skills, professionalism, and confidence in the healthcare field.
  • Integrate real-world medical assisting experiences into the curriculum to enhance practical learning.
  • Foster an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment that supports student success.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote continuous improvement.
