About The Position

Medical Assistant (MA) Position Highlights: Position: Medical Assistant Location: Glenview, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating hours between 7am – 5pm with rotating weekends 8am – 12pm Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department need.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
• One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred
• previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
