About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.
  • Work experience in health care preferred
