About The Position

START DATE: ASAP FULL TIME, IN PERSON CANDIDATES ONLY Candidates who are NOT able to commit to a full year of employment will not be considered. Growing medical group is seeking a Medical Scribe/Assistant who has interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal concerns and/or family medicine. Candidates should be interested in working with patients of all ages. Must have the ability to listen attentively and discern what information to add to the patient’s chart, follow physician guidance, and verbalize needing support when something is unclear. Candidates must also be willing to assist with administrative and clinical duties, such as but not limited to answering phones, making appointments, triaging calls, scanning, and obtaining prior authorizations. Candidates should demonstrate the following skills: Comfort with medical terminology Strong and fast typing skills Highly organized with good time management skills Exceptional written and oral communication skills Tech-savvy with great computer skills Strong attention to detail Great active-listening skills Experience with Microsoft Office Experience collaborating and working as part of a team Self-starter who works well independently Ability to multi-task Strong people skills Great problem-solving ability Enjoys working as part of a team and lending a hand as needed We offer a full package of benefits including medical, voluntary dental, vision, life insurance, short and long- term disability.
