Medical Assistant - Wound Tech

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- CPR and BLS certification by American Heart Association
- One year of previous physician or hospital experience
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Work efficiently
- Quick response time
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of medical supplies, order procedures, inventory and clerical skills are helpful
Responsibilities
- Adhere to HIPAA, and company policies and procedures
- Ability to accurately document all information regarding patients and their treatment
- Assist on-duty provider with administering the highest standard of care possible
- Inform provider/RN promptly regarding the change of a patient’s health or well-being
- Provide education and training of the patient/patient family
- Uphold any required certifications or trainings to properly use all clinical equipment
- Accurately and timely complete all patient records and documentation
