About The Position

We are a busy, patient-focused primary care practice dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare with compassion and professionalism. We are looking for a Medical Assistant / Front Desk Float to join our team. This role will provide both clinical and front desk support, floating between our Henderson and Southwest Las Vegas locations as needed. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and relevant medical office experience. Spanish fluency is required. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.

Requirements

• Spanish fluency required
• Understanding of infection control protocols and PPE usage
• Ability to perform physical tasks using safe body mechanics
• Proficiency with computers, Windows, and email applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel between Henderson and Southwest Las Vegas offices

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and manage patient communications
• Check patients in and out, schedule appointments, and process co-pays/coinsurance
• Verify insurance information and maintain accurate patient records
• Coordinate with insurance providers as needed
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate) and gather medical histories
• Prepare patients for exams and assist physicians during examinations
• Call prescriptions into pharmacies per provider direction
• Collect lab specimens
