About The Position
The Medical Assistant is responsible for everything from administrative work to patient and physician support tasks at the clinic. They help get patients medical history information, take vital signs, perform blood draws, and administer medications under the direct supervision of the provider.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D required.
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment required.
Nice To Haves
- Medical assistant certification
- one year of hospital experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or previous Medical Assistant preferred.
