Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and best practices relevant to dermatology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced work setting.
- Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Assist the physician during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
- Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Educated patients on their treatment plans, medications and skincare practices
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and ready for the next patient
