About The Position

Medical Assistant PRN- Provides general nursing care to patients in a clinical setting. Responsible for administering treatments, documenting care, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice. Monitor patient responses and notify providers of any changes or concerns. Accurately and timely document all patient care in the electronic health record. Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient and family education plans. Manage patient care plans according to individual needs. Maintain clinical competencies and follow standards applicable to specialty area. Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Communicate clinical information professionally with providers and healthcare team members. Requirements

  • Completion of an approved Medical Assistant (MA) program with State Certification
