About The Position

The Billing Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of billing processes within the organization. Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 years of billing experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Varian experience preferred.
• Clinical Research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily charges for completeness.
• Notify clinical staff of incomplete charges.
• Review all missing information reports and provide data.
• Prepare insurance authorization request packets and send them for review.
• Assist Texas Oncology billing and authorization departments with requests for information.
• Assist all outside labs, radiology, etc. with requests for billing information.
• All other duties as assigned.
