About The Position

Rome Health is currently seeking a Medical Imaging Tech Aide - Per Diem. The Medical Imaging Tech Aide works under general supervision, maintaining appropriate productivity and utilizing critical thinking skills to overcome obstacles and maintain patient and departmental flow. Demonstrate competence in all areas of responsibility, after an appropriate training period as determined by departmental leadership. The ideal hire will effectively with patients of all ages and in all types of medical situations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma

• Experience in acute care or medical office setting preferable

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and accurate.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate caring and respectful behaviors when interacting with patients and their families.
• Gather and act on essential and accurate information about their patients.
• Work with health care professionals and support staff, including those from other disciplines, to provide patient-focused care.
• Access patients in a knowledgeable and accurate manner.
• Verify patient with two identifies.
• Assess patient's physical capabilities and mobility limitations.
• Put patient safety, health and welfare first by screening patients thoroughly for contraindications and relaying areas of concern to the technologist.
• Communicate internally and with other departments in a collaborative manner to achieve common goals.
• Scan pertinent documents and technologist notes in PACS
• Expedite successive patient services upon completion of exam.
