About The Position

Responsibilities: Greet patients in person or via telephone; provide information and answer basic questions Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify patient insurance information and manage patient check-ins and check-outs Collect and process patient payments and co-pays Maintain and update patient records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication Assist with patient referrals and authorizations as needed Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: Russian speaking a plus but not required Ability and willingness to work at least one Saturday each month Proficiency in basic medical terminology Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Strong customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Bilingual English/ Russian a plus but not required

Requirements
