About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Supervisor to join our team at Homestead Correctional Institution located in Florida City, Florida. The Medical Records Supervisor is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program. This professional is responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete, accurate healthcare record while supervising the medical records staff and maintaining the confidentiality of the healthcare records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
