About The Position

NOW Courier is seeking a reliable Independent Contractor for a Dedicated Route in the Indianapolis and Carmel areas. This route involves high-priority hospital exchanges for CHN, requiring a driver who is exceptionally detail-oriented regarding timing and schedule adherence.
As an Independent Contractor, you are the face of our delivery operations, ensuring that critical medical items reach their destinations exactly when needed.
Your Mindset
Punctual: You understand that "on time" means arriving exactly at the scheduled stop time—never early, and only slightly late if necessary.
Patient: You can handle wait times between stops without frustration, as the customer’s specific timing is the priority.
Professional: You take pride in your vehicle and your ability to manage a consistent, repetitive schedule with precision.
Diligent: You are comfortable following a specific sequence of 32 stops across two loops, ensuring every exchange is completed correctly.
Route Details
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Starting Location: Indianapolis, IN
Coverage Area: Indianapolis (46219, 46250, 46256, 46227) and Carmel (46032)
Daily Stops: 32 total stops (multiple stops at some addresses)
Daily Mileage: Approximately 120 miles per week
Compensation: $128 per day plus fuel surcharge (Estimated $640 weekly)
To maintain our industry-leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:
Vehicle: Own a SUV or Minivan (2013 or newer) that can pass a multi-point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
Pre-Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process, including a driving history review (past 36 months), criminal background check, and drug screening.
