About The Position

Inizio Engage has partnered with Cepheid, a leader in molecular diagnostics and part of the Danaher Diagnostics family. Together, we are driving innovation in healthcare through accurate and connected diagnostic solutions. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will play a key role in engaging infectious disease specialists, laboratorians, and other healthcare professionals to advance awareness and clinical adoption of Cepheid’s cutting-edge infectious disease diagnostic products through scientific exchange. This field-based role offers the opportunity to advance patient outcomes by engaging with clinicians while being part of an award-winning workplace culture at Inizio Engage.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD) with 4+ years’ experience OR Master’s/Bachelor’s with 12+ years’ experience OR NP/RN license with 10+ years’ clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of infectious disease, healthcare systems, clinical care pathways, and laboratory workflows.
• Ability to travel 60–70% domestically.
• Excellent communication, scientific writing, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior MSL experience preferred.
• Direct experience in infectious disease diagnostics and application to patient care preferred.
• Proven ability to engage infectious disease specialists and scientific leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific resource to infectious disease physicians, pharmacists, laboratorians, infection prevention specialists, and public health leaders.
• Provide education and scientific exchange on Cepheid’s infectious disease diagnostics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with infectious disease thought leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and establish innovation partnerships.
• Stay current on infectious disease literature, treatment guidelines, and emerging healthcare trends.
• Participate in infectious disease–focused scientific meetings, advisory boards, and investigator-initiated research support.
• Provide clinical insights to internal teams, influencing diagnostic product design, development, and implementation.
