Working as a medical scribe is an excellent opportunity in a medical environment for anyone seeking clinical hours in order to attend grad school with a focus on medicine.
Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
- Our medical scribes must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
- Possess a high level of computer literacy
- Be highly organized
- Very detail oriented
Responsibilities
- Reviewing medical documentation for accuracy
- Using EMA EMR to document all pertinent elements of a patient exam accurately and thoroughly
- Other duties as assigned
