About The Position

The Medical Scribe will support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters, managing clinical information, and ensuring timely, organized charting. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable traveling locally to assist providers in various home-based and assisted living settings.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience as a medical scribe.
• High school diploma required; additional education in healthcare or medical terminology preferred.
• Strong typing, listening, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Professional communication and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record required.
• Full‑time hours with local travel throughout the Livingston, NJ area.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in Athena EHR preffered.

Responsibilities

• Document patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans during provider visits.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time electronic medical records (EMR) for each encounter.
• Assist with chart preparation, follow‑up documentation, and completion of required clinical forms.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of all medical documentation.
• Travel with or meet providers at scheduled patient locations within the Livingston region.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and organizational standards.
