What you'll do: You'll be responsible for distributing client’s medication from
filled prescriptions and assisting in the overall operation of the medication
room. Other functions include:

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a required certified medication aide training course.
• Must successfully pass state medication aide exam or possess current LVN license in the state of Texas or ability to transfer license to Texas.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and document as ordered.
• Maintain security of medication room.
• Return outdated medication to pharmacy and keep log books updated.
• Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records; observe applicable HIPAA rules.
