MedTech Vascular Assistant - Fort Worth, TX
About The Position
Our MedTech Vascular Assistant experiences a unique opportunity and leverage your clinical expertise in a dynamic role that goes beyond traditional patient care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. What you will be doing in the role: Supporting in-hospital case coverage on peripheral and/or coronary atherectomy cases. Demonstrate a high level of understanding in these types of situations through offering education and clinical knowledge to physicians performing the case/medical procedure. Per-diem schedule but can amount to 1- 2 days of work each week and can work with a current Part Time or Full-time Training for this role will be provided and is paid. You will have an opportunity to travel, grow, and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry.
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Radiology Technician (RT), RCIS, RN or Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential and licensure preferred
- Associates degree required, experience in leu of degree considered
- Hospital or industry experience required.
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred unit or environment experience – Emphasis on Fluoroscopy, cardiac catheterization lab, interventional radiology, operating room, outpatient access center, ambulatory surgery center, ultrasound, or dialysis center.
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required.
- 1 year experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
