Your Role The successful candidate will be part of the skilled, collaborative, and supportive Education Services team. Their key responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating training materials, and teaching classes. As a technical instructor, candidates need to have excellent presentation and communication skills, along with a calm and patient demeanor. They will need to be able to help students with hands-on activities on Wind River’s DevSecOps and edge products. Class deliveries also may include student evaluations. A qualified candidate is expected to be hands-on with Wind River’s products, developing education content that covers product features and uses cases for instructor-led training and/or self-paced eLearning. They will be knowledgeable in cloud technologies and networking. Build lecture and hands-on course materials by engaging with and developing relationships with subject matter experts and becoming intimately familiar with Wind River’s products Develop student assessments that will verify competency Understand customer needs by leveraging student and instructor feedback and adjusting content deliverables to address them Prepare, maintain and ensure continuous availability of student lab environments Evolve, add additional labs within virtualized lab environments, based upon feedback from classes/instructors, customers, and Wind River sales team Ability to diagnose and resolve issues within labs, sometimes invoked by students in classes, on the fly Testing lab steps and correcting any procedural issues, both lab and documentation Present technical concepts and specific solutions to internal and external audiences of varying technical capabilities in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner Mentor junior developers in tooling, product workflows, writing clarity, and lab building Teach in virtual environments and face-to-face environments. Occasionally travel to teach in person Ensure student interactivity during class using chat, Q&A, polls, practical hands-on exercises, and whiteboarding
