At the Y, we're more than a gym; we're a community. We're looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and service-minded individual to join our team as a Member Services Specialist. In this role, you'll work behind the scenes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and smooth operation of our patron accounts and data systems, making a real impact on the experience of every Y member we serve. What You'll Do You'll utilize available technology to execute processes that support the accuracy and integrity of patron accounts and core service data. Day-to-day, that means completing timely account updates, supporting programs and partnerships, maintaining data integrity across systems, and carrying out administrative and service-related functions as needed. With time and institutional knowledge, you may also step in to support the work of Member Account Service Representatives to keep the department running at its best. What We're Looking For We need someone who is organized, self-driven, and accountable. Someone who takes pride in getting the details right. The ideal candidate brings prior CRM experience, excels at data-oriented tasks, and is comfortable pivoting between priorities in a fast-moving environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is a genuine commitment to service and teamwork. Additional qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft Office products and email platforms, the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion, a proven track record of meeting deadlines, and a willingness to actively participate in required YMCA trainings and uphold association policies and procedures. Physical Requirements This is primarily an office-based role requiring the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, operate standard office equipment, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal form. Occasional lifting, reaching, and squatting may be required.
