What You’ll Be Doing: Processes and monitors legal actions including but not limited to small claims, civil actions, garnishments, repossessions, satisfactions, bankruptcies, and foreclosures acting as credit union representative in Court proceedings. Negotiate mediation agreements as needed. Coordinates transfer of information to Law firm on accounts recommended for our attorneys. Corresponds with attorneys on legal actions Processes documents, and works with outside agencies on repossessions, foreclosures, sale of collateral, debt management, third party collection maintaining records and correspondence with all parties and applying payments Computes Month end reports, including but not limited to delinquency report, call report, and charge off report Processes all levies: holding funds, releasing funds, and sending funds to levy agency. Corresponds professionally with both members and agency representatives Receives signed documents and applies interest rate, payment, due date, and maturity date changes Analyzes account applications, documents, lien perfections, forced place insurance, and credit card report in preparation of legal action. Processes all invoices and receives appropriate approval for accounting Updates and corrects credit bureaus and responds to disputes on delinquent accounts. Works with Member Solutions VP to compute monthly charge offs. Processes all monthly charge offs Communicates effectively (both verbal and written) with members, internal and external contacts. Responds professionally to employee and member questions, concerns, and complaints

Requirements

  • Associate degree and two years of related experience or a combination of education and experience
