About The Position
The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. Our Development department is currently seeking a Membership Sales & Services Associate who is passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience. This position offers a base pay of $11.00 per hour plus commission. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for on-site membership sales, customer service, data entry, and document processing for memberships sold on Zoo grounds. In addition, Associates respond to member telephone calls and monitor email accounts for correspondences. The ideal candidate must possess strong Customer Service skills, have the ability to take direction and work independently as well as within a team.
Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience in sales, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work schedules include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by programming schedule or other department needs.
- The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana.
