As a Membership Specialist (Closer) , you will be a critical revenue-driving part of the Association of Professional Builders, working closely with our sales team to enroll new Members and help builders take the next step toward more profitable, systemised businesses. You'll be trusted to run high-quality Sales Discovery Sessions, guide qualified prospects to clear buying decisions, and consistently hit -- and exceed -- performance targets while upholding APB's exceptional standards of professionalism, client care, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in closing sales
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to create trust, urgency, and clarity
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to empathise, advise, and lead prospects to confident buying decisions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously
  • Strong CRM discipline with detailed note-taking and follow-up
  • Comfortable presenting to small and large audiences via Zoom and in person
  • Technologically savvy (CRMs, Zoom, calendar tools, online collaboration platforms)
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Able to work remotely without distraction

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Sales Discovery Sessions with qualified prospects
  • Enroll new clients into APB Membership and the Builders Profit Accelerator
  • Support upselling and ascension into coaching programs
  • Maintain proactive follow-up and pipeline movement across all leads
  • Attend daily sales huddles and weekly sales team meetings
  • Prepare thoroughly for all calls, meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions
  • Respond to all inbound enquiries promptly and professionally (within 1 business day)
  • Maintain accurate, detailed CRM notes and impeccable CRM hygiene
  • Commit to constant learning, upskilling, and performance improvement
