American Association of University Professors Department of Organizing and Services Membership Specialist–Hybrid position based in Washington, D.C., with part-time telework The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) a fast-growing union of higher education workers, invites applications for a Membership Specialist. AAUP represents academic workers at colleges and universities nationwide. We are uniting and mobilizing faculty, staff, and students in order to advance a transformative vision for higher education. The Membership Specialist will be a primary point of contact for AAUP members and potential members who have questions, need to update their contact information, or request help with solving problems related to their membership. The ideal applicant will have excellent oral and written communication skills, experience working collaboratively with organization members and staff, and the ability to convey complex information accurately and concisely.
