Requirements

  • Proven experience in assisted living, with a focus on memory care or dementia care
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living and memory care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of seniors with cognitive challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing management experience is highly encouraged
  • Ability to develop and implement care strategies that promote dignity and independence

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of memory care services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' unique needs and preferences
  • Lead, mentor, and support staff to maintain high standards of care and professionalism
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making improvements as necessary
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful environment for residents and staff
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to support residents' well-being
  • Manage operational aspects including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory documentation
