About The Position

Cherry Hills Country Club is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender/Server to join our Men's Grille team. The Men's Grille is our member-only lounge offering lunch and dinner service with a full-service bar, and it is one of the most active and beloved outlets at the Club. In this dual role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional table service and bar craft to a discerning private club membership. The ideal candidate brings genuine warmth, polished communication skills, and a great pride in hospitality. This position requires flexibility, including availability for late-night service and select Club holidays. Cherry Hills hosts a full calendar of signature events, member gatherings, and seasonal celebrations, and our Men's Grille team plays a central role in making those moments memorable.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in bartending and/or table service in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or private club environment.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, with the ability to make confident recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you are naturally engaging and comfortable building rapport with a sophisticated membership.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking individual initiative.
Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods throughout service.

Nice To Haves

Private club or fine dining experience is strongly preferred.
TIPS or equivalent responsible service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Provide warm, attentive table and bar service to members and their guests during lunch and dinner service.
Maintain expert knowledge of the food and beverage menus, including daily specials, cocktail offerings, wine selections, and dietary accommodations.
Accurately take and enter member orders using the Club's POS system with speed and precision.
Craft cocktails and tend the bar responsibly, with attention to both quality and presentation.
Maintain the Men's Grille and all surrounding service areas in impeccable condition — clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
Monitor par levels, communicate low-stock needs proactively, and assist with ordering and inventory as needed.
Build genuine relationships with members over time, learning preferences and anticipating needs to create a personalized experience.
Uphold the Club's service standards with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.
