Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) is a trusted provider of evidence-based mental health services in the Twin Cities and greater metro area. Since 1980, we have specialized in delivering comprehensive mental health care to adults and seniors in diverse medical and community settings, including: Long-term care facilities Assisted and independent living communities Group homes Transitional care units Board and care residences ACP clinicians work in these settings directly with residents, staff and families to teach efficacious evidence-based strategies to support improved psychological health, effective functioning, and enhance quality of life. We facilitate life span development so people can thrive in residential settings, not just survive even when chronic medical conditions are present such as dementia, substance abuse and related mental health disorders. Through trauma-informed care, consultation, and collaboration with other health care providers, ACP clinicians focus on creating a therapeutic milieu that supports all members of the residential community towards vital living.
