We’re seeking a Project Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical and low‑voltage systems to help lead a major stadium project from early planning through final turnover. The MEP Project Engineer will play a key supporting role in delivering complex building systems, with a particular focus on low‑voltage infrastructure and electrical work scopes. This entry‑level engineering position provides hands‑on exposure to field operations, project controls, document management, and VDC coordination while working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and trade partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent education/training)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility
  • Basic proficiency with standard office and construction technology tools

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or co‑op experience in construction or engineering
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and field operations

Responsibilities

  • Field Support
  • Walk job sites to observe progress, safety conditions, and quality of work
  • Assist Superintendents with punch list activities and site logistics planning
  • Capture progress photos and help track field issues
  • Participate in coordination meetings, including BIM trade coordination
  • Support the permitting process as needed
  • Document Control & Project Administration
  • Prepare, track, and distribute RFIs and submittals
  • Attend project meetings and document meeting minutes
  • Maintain and organize drawings and specifications
  • Assist with bid package preparation and distribution
  • Support project closeout, turnover, and document archiving activities
  • Project Controls
  • Review contractor pricing for changes and assist with cost evaluations
  • Support schedule planning and pull‑planning activities
  • Observe field operations to help understand schedule execution
  • Assist with monthly owner reports, including financial and status updates
  • Support subcontractor pay applications and owner billing processes
  • Assist with productivity tracking for self‑perform work, where applicable
