MERCHANDISE RETAIL ASSOCIATE Seasonal The position of Merchandise Retail Associate will be responsible for assisting the Professional staff and the merchandise manager/golf shop manager in managing the daily Pro Shop operations, checking in members and their guests, collecting fees, billing accounts, and providing outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Proficient in basic point of sale software and inventory management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High school diploma
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
- Adhere to appearance standards as described in employee handbook.
- Achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Work effectively without constant direct supervision.
- Committed to working rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Providing the highest level of customer service to our members, their families, and guests
- Promoting our facility and events
- Maintaining the daily online tee sheet, keeping accurate records of daily play and charging all transactions
- Answering phones
- Merchandising and inventory control of the Pro Shop
- Selling shop merchandise
- Assisting in outside operations duties, as needed
- Control the starting of players; closely follow the pace of play; remind golfers of course rules and etiquette; take tee times according to the reservation policies and complete appropriate paperwork; sell merchandise and collect golf course fees.
- Assist in any phase of the clubhouse operation as required, i.e., daily housekeeping chores, answer phone calls and address member needs.
- Deliver excellent customer service daily.
- Perform related work as required and assigned.
