Position Summary The Merchandise Seller assists guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner with purchasing artist and show merchandise at concerts and events. This role will pay an hourly rate of $13.00 and is tip eligible Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until June 5, 2026. About the Venue This position is based at the Ford Idaho Center. The Ford Idaho Center features a variety of flexible spaces to host events of all types and sizes. The Ford Idaho Center is a unique combination of three venues under one complex: Ford Idaho Center Arena, Ford Idaho Sports Center, and Ford Idaho Horse Park. The complex is flexible to meet the needs of events of all types and sizes. It is well-suited for conventions, meetings, tradeshows, sporting, social and entertainment events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Box office, retail sales or customer service background preferred.
  • Ability to count money, make change accurately.
  • Ability to run a credit card.
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions.
  • Ability to use an iPad & credit card swiper to track sales transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Helps setup/tear down merchandise stand with other sellers.
  • Maintains accurate counts when selling merchandise and handling cash.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; friendly, courteous & respectful with patrons, staff and tour representatives.
  • Works well under pressure; able to get patrons through lines quickly and efficiently with loud noise from concerts and shows.
  • Team player; able to work well with a team of merchandise sellers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will handle and count money, run credit cards, and sell t-shirts, hats, and other artist merchandise.
