About The Position

The Worldwide TV Marketing Operations Metadata team plays a pivotal role in shaping how Warner Bros. Discovery’s television titles are presented, discovered, and experienced across our global B2B distribution platforms. As a Metadata Marketing Operations Intern, you’ll support the team through hands‑on data entry, acquisition of key production and marketing documents, and quality-checking metadata that powers our industry-facing sites. This internship offers a unique view into the intersection of marketing, content operations, and global distribution, giving you experience with workflows that support high‑visibility titles and partners across WBD. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving department that takes pride in accuracy, creativity, and enabling the worldwide success of our content.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues across written materials and metadata entries.
  • Strong English grammar, spelling, and copyediting comprehension, with the ability to apply stylistic rules and maintain consistency across documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including formatting, editing, and reviewing documents.
  • Familiarity with PDF files, including reviewing, annotating, and validating content for accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and navigating structured datasets.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to ask questions, document findings, and collaborate effectively with the Metadata team.
  • Ability to carefully follow instructions, retain training details, and apply learned workflows to make informed decisions during independent work.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, updates, and file types in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Support the Metadata team by conducting accurate data entry and updates within WBD’s B2B content management systems, ensuring title metadata is complete, consistent, and aligned with internal standards.
  • Assist in the acquisition, organization, and publishing of marketing and production documents—including synopses, credits, press materials, and other essential title assets—working closely with Publicity, Rights, and Production contacts.
  • Perform quality checks on title metadata and published assets, reviewing for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and compliance with WBD style and platform requirements.
  • Help maintain the integrity and readiness of title pages on the B2B distribution site by uploading assets, validating metadata population, and flagging discrepancies for the Metadata team.
  • Support daily operational workflows by assisting with ticket research and task follow ups, learning how to locate, confirm, and track critical information across multiple internal databases.
  • By the end of the semester, the intern will have contributed to the launch and maintenance of active WBD titles, gained hands on experience with studio level metadata operations, and strengthened skills in content management, organization, and cross team communication.
